Radars have Thunder on the edge of Elimination
Submitted By Bill Ryan on Monday, March 9, 2020
A tough 3 game in 3 day weekend with 3 loses.

Originally scheduled as a two game weekend the WOAA ruled in favor of the Radars and forced game 3 to go Sunday to make up for snowed out game 1 in Clinton. Making it a 3 game in 3 day weekend.

Friday night the Thunder dropped a one goal decision 5 to 4 in Clinton. This game could've gone either way.  Clintons tender Gregg Dodds was the difference maker both Sat and Sun. Sat the Thunder pressed hard and often but could not solve Dodds dropping a 5-0 decision. Sunday the depleted Thunder lineup (work, injuries and unavoidable events) again pressed hard and the momentum swung all game. Dodds and the Radar D shut Thunder players down till late 3rd when Travis Lisabeth ripped a Ryan Stephenson pass top shelf. An empty net goal later period and the Thunder fell 6-1.

Clinton has proven they mean business going for another ship. But the Thunder never say die and should be at full roster and healthy and look forward to another 3 games in 3 days. Friday night 8:30pm in Clinton, Sat night 7:30pm in Tillsonburg and Sunday game 7 at 5pm in Clinton. Games 6 and 7 are if/when needed. Here we go get this week over! Gonna be a battle!
