Thunder Steal Game One vs Radars

Weather forced reschedule of 1st game.  Series started in Tillsonburg with 2-1 win

Both teams came out of the gate flying in the 1st game of the series in the first exchanging chances. No scoring took place in the first despite the almost 30 shots combined. Clinton came out hard in the 2nd but the Thunder would score the 1st goal of the series around the 10min mark. Matt Pasztor fired home the shot from just above the hash marks after sustained pressure and a goal mouth scramble. Clinton's Max Campbell would fire home a a wrist shot on a quick feed to the high slot at 330 remaining in the 2nd to tie the score. Tommy Lee was the difference in net for the Thunder stopping some point blank shots and a breakaway in the 2nd.

The 3rd saw both teams trade chances. Both tenders stood their ground. with just under 3 minutes to play Travis Lisabeth converted on the PP for the Thunder for what proved to be the game winner. Thunder win 2-1 lead Series 1-0. Game 2 goes Friday Nov 6th 8:30pm in Clinton. Coach Hutchison had this to say about our game 1 Victory  "We will take the win but we cant give Clinton this many opportunities and expect to win a 7 game series" "we will adjust Friday"
