It took 6 hard fought games but the Thunder closed out the Winterhawks at home Sat night winning the best of 7 series 4-2. Opponent TBD

Friday night the Winterhawks blanked the Thunder in game 5 at Port Elgin 4-0 to force game 6. The Thunder responded with our best effort of the season. With the exception of an early and late game defense zone let down. The Thunder dominated the puck possession game and our d core led by goalie Tommy Lee kept the Hawks at bay most of the game. The newly formed line of Skinner centering Lisabeth and Geldart combined for the winner and insurance goals in the victory. Hats off to Saugeen on a great regular season and playoff effort.

We will face either the Minto 81's if Durham win game 7 over Ripley or the Clinton Radars if Ripley wins over Durham Tuesday night. Watch for schedule updates on Facebook, twitter and here.
